Technical Working Groups

EOTA is committed to work in close cooperation with concerned stakeholders of the construction sector.

If necessary due to further development of the state of art or to the need to find and promote a common understanding in the sector, EOTA publishes calls for experts aiming at discussing the development of future editions of documents published by EOTA. These are amendments of European Assessment Documents (EAD), Technical Reports (EOTA TR) or any other guidance supporting the EOTA work. Any support by European associations and their experts is asked to be kind.

Participation

Interested EU associations and organisations should consider nominating experts with high technical competence in the relevant product area and English literacy. Objectivity and a sound technical judgement is expected from the expert throughout the whole revision process. All candidatures are subject to approval by the EOTA Technical Board.

Applications by EU associations should be addressed within the deadline of the call for experts to EOTA Secretariat in Brussels (info(at)eota.eu). Unsolicited applications may be considered. The following information shall be provided (in brief):

  • The name or reference number of the working group your organization is interested in;
  • Motivation for your application;
  • Information about the scope of activity of your organisation and representativeness;
  • Acknowledgement of Observer commitment;
  • Documents to be signed by the organisation and the expert(s).
